Job summary

Perimeter Healthcare in Saint Robert, MO is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for adolescents in our behavioral healthcare facility.

You will perform daily cleaning of patient rooms and common areas, follow infection control protocols, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure a comfortable setting while supporting our mission to transform lives. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Missouri driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in a mental health setting (adolescents preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and facilities.
• Follow established infection control protocols and sanitize equipment and furnishings.
• Ensure all supplies and materials are stocked and available to meet patient and staff needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and healthcare staff to respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly.

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients as a Housekeeper at Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri - Saint Robert. In this role, the Housekeeper will assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for adolescents facing behavioral challenges and medically complex physical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and facilities to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Follow established protocols for cleaning and disinfecting equipment and furnishings, adhering to infection control standards and hospital policies.
• Ensure all supplies and materials are stocked and available to meet the needs of patients and staff.
• Collaborate with nursing and healthcare staff to respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Missouri Driver's License
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Experience in a mental health setting (preferably with adolescents), and knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development, and the ability to relate to adolescents with substance abuse or mental health problems is preferred.
