Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a diligent Environmental Services team member to perform daily cleaning tasks across patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, and restrooms. Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning tasks for patients and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned by Environmental Services.
• Demonstrates knowledge of different cleaning types: daily, discharge, terminal and isolation.
• Maintains cleanliness of restrooms in public areas and patient rooms, including showers.
• Supports office and facility cleaning as needed.

Performs daily cleaning tasks for patients and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned by the Environmental Services Department.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

Essential Functions/Performance Expectations

• Has customer service knowledge skills


• Knows trash removal process


• Knows room cleaning process


• Knows on different types of cleaning such as daily, discharge, terminal and isolation


• Knows how to clean restrooms in public areas versus patient rooms including showers


• Has office cleaning experience

Education And Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred but not required.


• Prior equivalent work experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related position is a plus.
