Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to maintain cleanliness across resident apartments, bathrooms and common areas within a Brookdale community. The role involves diligent cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

You will respond to room emergencies, log activities, and engage with residents in a courteous manner. The position supports a range of full- and part-time shifts at Brookdale communities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience as housekeeper in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Ability to interact with residents and guests in a friendly manner.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Housekeepers clean floors, dust, remove trash, wet mop, wax and disinfect resident apartments, restrooms and public use spaces. Cleaning can include vacuuming, shampooing and deodorizing carpets, and cleaning surfaces throughout the community.
• Respond to resident room emergencies, and log cleaning activities as required.
• Housekeepers also interact with residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
