PTLA Real Estate Group is seeking a dependable Housekeeper at a large apartment community in Lubbock, TX. You’ll perform turnover cleaning of apartments, maintain common areas, and support the maintenance team to keep the property clean and welcoming for residents and guests.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely performance, and the ability to work independently with safety-minded cleaning practices. This is an on-site position requiring physical stamina and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or professional cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow cleaning instructions, product guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, lifting, bending, reaching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed apartment turnover cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, counters, floors, windows, and fixtures to ensure apartments are clean and move-in ready.
• Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, fitness centers, community rooms, offices, and other shared spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wipe down surfaces, and clean windows and glass as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as necessary.
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of trash and debris throughout the community.
• Maintain cleanliness of shared amenities and high-traffic areas throughout the day.
• Monitor common areas for cleaning needs and address spills, messes, or other housekeeping concerns promptly.
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the property grounds and exterior common areas.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment and notify the appropriate team member when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Help maintain the overall curb appeal and clean, professional appearance of the community.
• Assist the maintenance and property teams with light cleaning or property upkeep tasks as assigned.

About this position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at a large apartment community. This position is primarily focused on housekeeping and maintaining clean, sanitary, and welcoming spaces throughout the property. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys creating a clean and comfortable environment for residents and guests.

The Porter will be responsible for cleaning apartment homes during turnovers, maintaining common areas and shared amenities, and helping ensure the overall community is consistently clean and well-presented.
