At Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Downtown, we are seeking a professional, energetic Housekeeper responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for guests.

Overview

The Housekeeper will perform cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas to meet health standards.
• Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and dispose of trash.
• Replenish supplies such as linens, toiletries, and writing materials.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and organized.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies with vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; perform waxing and polishing as needed.
• Hang draperies and dust window blinds.
• Protect hotel and guest property, report damages, thefts, and found articles.
• Remove debris from driveways, garages, and pool areas.
• Sort, count, and store linens properly.

Education and Experience

• High school education preferred.
• No prior experience required.
