Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas per hotel standards
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, linen changes, bed making, amenities replenishment
• Complete room checklists within time limits while maintaining quality
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report issues to supervisor
• Handle belongings with care, maintain privacy and security
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and organized
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines including chemical handling
• Communicate room status and supplies needed to team
• Respond to guest requests courteously and escalate issues when needed
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards
• Assist with additional tasks or special projects as assigned

About The Role

As a Housekeeper in our 40 Housekeeping department, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all hotel guests. This hourly, part-time position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can complete cleaning tasks efficiently within set timeframes. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas to established standards, ensuring that every space is safe, tidy, and ready for use. No prior housekeeping experience is required; we are looking for reliable, punctual individuals who are willing to learn and uphold our commitment to exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established hotel standards
• Perform detailed cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, making beds, and replenishing amenities
• Complete assigned room and area checklists within required time limits while maintaining high quality standards
• Inspect rooms and areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and presentation, reporting any concerns to the supervisor
• Handle guest rooms and belongings with care and respect, maintaining privacy and security at all times
• Properly use and maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment in a safe and organized manner
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical handling procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about room status, supplies needed, and any issues encountered
• Respond to guest requests courteously and promptly, escalating issues to management when needed
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance and adhere to uniform and grooming standards
• Support the housekeeping team with additional cleaning tasks or special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• English language skills sufficient to follow instructions, safety guidelines, and basic communication with team members and guests
• Ability to pay strong attention to detail and maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Comfort with detailed cleaning tasks, including repetitive and physically active work
• Ability to complete cleaning responsibilities within defined time limits without sacrificing quality
• Reliable and punctual, with a consistent record of showing up on time for scheduled shifts
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift light to moderate loads for extended periods during a shift
• Willingness to follow established procedures, checklists, and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively as part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, room assignments, and guest needs
