Job summary

Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces, following infection control standards and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently or with a team, and committed to creating a comfortable environment for those in our care.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Collect and take out trash to designated disposal areas.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Respond courteously to resident and staff requests.
• Assist with room turnovers and deep cleaning as assigned.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces while following infection control and safety standards.
