Job Overview

We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team at Village of Lawrence in Lawrence, Kansas! This position involves cleaning all common areas, guest rooms, laundry rooms, party rooms, etc. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming hallways, shoveling snow, snow blowing, setting up meeting rooms, moving tables and chairs, shampooing carpets, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

This environmental services schedule includes:

• 40 hours every two weeks; part-time
• Day Shift
• No weekends!

Responsibilities:

• Clean public areas of the building as assigned
• Perform job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 0 - 1 year of previous experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school Diploma/GED
• One to three years of previous experience
