Job summary

PRAXM in the Midwest is seeking a qualified Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our community. You will perform cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring apartments are ready for new residents.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred. Compensation is $16–$18 per hour, with renewal commission potential.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work inside or outside in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff.
• Work effectively with the team and ensure a positive environment.
• Clean all floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators.
• Vacuum all floors.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock all restrooms.
• Ensure apartments are clean prior to new resident move-ins.
• Empty trash in common areas and coordinate with maintenance.
• Coordinate with maintenance and office staff to complete cleaning requests.

Description

We are seeking a qualified Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for the cleanliness and internal appearance of the community. Below is a listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff.
• Work effectively with the team and ensure a positive environment.
• Responsible for cleaning all floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators.
• Responsible for vacuuming all floors.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock all restrooms.
• Ensure apartments are clean prior to new resident move-ins.
• Responsible for emptying trash in the common areas of the property and communicating with the maintenance team on any trash-related issues.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and office staff to complete any necessary cleaning requests

Requirements

Work Environment

• Ability to work inside or outside and in varying weather conditions
• Physical demands include walking, climbing stairs, standing for long periods, bending, squatting & occasionally lifting up to 50lbs
• Skill Requirements
• Knowledge of safety guidelines
• Knowledgeable in the operation of a vacuum cleaner, walk-behind scrubber, wet/dry vacuum, ladder, and a back-pack vacuum.
• Use of chemicals for cleaning and personal protective equipment.

Compensation

• $16-18/hour + renewal commission potential!
