Damar is currently seeking a housekeeper to ensure consistent application of the highest health standards, ensuring all residents reside in a safe, clean, and healthy environment. The role involves maintaining the building and equipment to comply with the State Board of Health’s rules and regulations, safeguarding the health and safety of residents and employees.

Shift:

Monday-Friday 5a-2:00p or 6a-3:00p (No weekends!)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain buildings to provide a clean environment for residents.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly duties as per standard operating procedures.
• Perform weekend duties such as laundry, cleaning, and stocking.
• Complete incident reports, including reporting suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 10 to 60 pounds and maneuver 20 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to perform tasks involving bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• Minimum age of 21 (depending on program/department).
• Valid Indiana driver’s license with a suitable driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Meet background screening requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Physical: Ability to work in an office setting, stand or sit for prolonged periods, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35lbs, operating office equipment, and traveling between locations.

Vision: Normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing: Normal audio range with or without correction.
