Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is seeking a compassionate housekeeping assistant for TheVillage of River Oaks, a senior living community in Houston, TX.

You will clean occupied and vacant apartments and community areas, handle laundry as assigned, and receive training as needed; must enjoy working with seniors.

Ability to work Fridays to Sundays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on holidays/weekends is required; background check and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• We will train the right candidates.
• Must desire to work with seniors and tolerate dementia-related behaviors.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Aspenwood Company is looking for a compassionate, friendly, meticulous individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with seniors. This opportunity is at our TheVillage of River Oaks, an Independent and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

You will be responsible for cleaning occupied/empty apartments and community areas, laundry as assigned, etc. Housekeeping experience preferred but not necessary. We will train the right candidates. Must desire to work with seniors and have a tolerance for behaviors associated with dementia and other aging processes.

Part Time:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.

Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
