Responsibilities

• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.

• Report repairs or replacements to maintenance.
• Assist guests with room preferences and needs.
• Support other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

About the Role

Champions Club is looking for a Housekeeper to join our growing team! The Housekeeper is responsible for taking care of a building’s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents. Their duties include cleaning floors, making beds and dusting surfaces throughout a home or other building.

This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Making beds and changing linens
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Stock and maintain all linens, toiletries, and other supplies frequently
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• Steaming and cleaning draperies
• Washing/cleaning blinds, windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Tidying up rooms
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
• Organize all furniture and hotel items to Hotel’s standards
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
• Assist guest in terms of room preference
• Assists other departments and duties when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
• Performs additional duties as needed

Experience & Skills

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior experience preferred
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holiday
• Ability to address issues in a professional manner through effective interpersonal communication
• Ability to adhere to all company policies and the code of conduct
• Understands the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues

Qualities & Preferences

• Exemplary time and resource management including good attendance
• Ability to maintain peak performance during high stress situations
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

Pay

This starting pay for this role is $14.00/hr
