Job summary

Erickson Senior Living in Houston's Eagle's Trace community is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain resident living spaces and common areas with no travel involved. The role covers cleaning resident homes, lobbies, bathrooms, and classrooms, using carpet and floor care equipment.

The position is 35 hours per week, Thursday through Monday, 10am–5pm, with compensation starting at $14.25 per hour plus benefits such as medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) match, and onsite wellness services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping vehicles and interact professionally with residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of the community using specialized equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, lobbies, and classrooms.
• Assist with trash collection, bagging and disposal, and liner replacement.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces with extraction, drying, and vacuuming.

Join our team as a Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. All of our clients are located within our community, so no travel is involved!

Compensation

Commensurate with experience, starting at $14.25 / hr

Schedule

35 hours per week. Work Thursday through Monday from 10am-5pm

How You Will Make An Impact

• Cleaning resident's homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What You Will Need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
