Job summary

Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge is seeking a Housekeeper/Room Attendant to maintain clean guest rooms, cabins, and public areas. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and help create a welcoming environment that reflects the park’s natural beauty.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of related experience, a strong eye for detail, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Independent work and teamwork are both essential to success.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling demanding tasks.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Make beds and change linens in accordance with lodge standards
• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces thoroughly and efficiently
• Dust, vacuum, and clean carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery
• Replenish room amenities and supplies
• Replace light bulbs, remove trash, and restock housekeeping carts
• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items
• Conduct final checks to ensure rooms are guest-ready

Position Overview
