Job summary

True Connection Communities - Arbour Square in Harleysville, PA is seeking a full-time housekeeper to perform housekeeping in resident apartments and common areas. Hotel experience is a plus. Monday – Friday with some weekends, 6:30am - 2:30pm, supporting a senior living community.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining common areas, while engaging with residents and families to provide a positive service experience. EEO employer.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks in resident apartments and common areas.
• Cleans resident apartments, including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, dusting.
• Picks up and empties common area trash containers.
• Cleans common areas including public restrooms, halls, lobbies, elevators, activity areas, etc.
• Uses cleaning cart to transport supplies.
• Interacts with residents and families to ensure a positive service experience.
• Notifies management of hazardous or safety issues and other concerns.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The full time housekeeper position performs housekeeping/cleaning duties in resident apartments and common areas of the community. Hotel experience a plus!

Monday - Friday with some weekends from 6:30am - 2:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned rooms in senior living community.
• Cleans resident apartments, including but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, cleaning bathroom, kitchens and living areas, dusting, emptying trash.
• Picks up and empties common area trash containers.
• Cleans common areas, including but not limited to public restrooms, halls, landings, restaurants, stairs, activities areas, lobbies, elevators, model rooms, patio, and grounds area.
• Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
• Interacts with residents, potential residents, and family members, ensuring a positive service experience.
• Notifies appropriate management of any hazardous or safety issues, change in resident status, and other situations that would warrant attention.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior Hotel experience a PLUS!
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of personalities.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
• Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
