Job summary

Village Health Care in Gresham, Oregon is seeking a Housekeeper to perform light cleaning duties to maintain resident’s rooms and common areas of the community. You will ensure cleaning schedules are followed, coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services, and adhere to sanitary/safety rules and regulations.

Education/language requirements include a High School diploma and proficiency in English; health requirements must be met per state regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements or as required by State regulations.
• Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follows and completes cleaning schedules.
• Observes proper infection control standards.
• Performs janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
• Maintains equipment used in performing duties.
• Observing precautions required to protect resident property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.

You will be responsible for ensuring cleaning schedules are followed, coordinating daily housekeeping services with nursing services, and adhering to sanitary/safety rules and regulations.
