Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe living spaces for residents across our community in Grass Valley, CA. You will clean apartments and common areas, handle laundry, and stock supplies with attention to sanitation and resident comfort.

We value reliability, basic reading and math, and clear English communication. Training is provided; opportunities for advancement and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and team members.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Clean resident apartments and public areas including bathrooms and kitchens.
• Perform laundry duties and handle linen distribution.
• Stock cleaning carts and maintain supply rooms.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Assist with trash disposal and recycling as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities.

• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties including:
  • Distributing laundered articles and linens
  • Changing beds
  • Cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed
  • Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
  • Dusting furniture and equipment
  • Polishing metalwork
  • Washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Performs all laundry duties, including:
  • Washing and drying resident laundry and textiles in provided appliances
  • Folding and/or hanging laundry appropriately
  • Distributing laundered articles and linens
  • Changing bed linens.
• Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors, washing walls, and checking lint traps regularly.
• Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
• Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
• Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s).
• Work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean.
• Request maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
• Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to Supervisor.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
