Atria Senior Living, Inc. in Andover, MA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe living spaces for residents and staff. You will clean apartments and common areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, windows, floors, and furniture.

You will also perform laundry duties, stock supplies, and report maintenance or health concerns to your supervisor. This role requires basic reading, writing, math, and English communication, and offers training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must complete all company training programs.
• Operate cleaning equipment as listed (brooms, mops, vacuums, etc).
• Able to work varied schedules and shifts.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.

Responsabilités

• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties including laundering, changing beds, restocking supplies, and cleaning restrooms.
• Distribute laundered articles and linens; fold and/or hang laundry; change bed linens.
• Maintain resident laundry areas and stock supplies; wash windows and dust surfaces.
• Report health or living condition changes to Supervisor; work with maintenance as needed.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities.

• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties including:
  • Distributing laundered articles and linens
  • Changing beds
  • Cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed
  • Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
  • Dusting furniture and equipment
  • Polishing metalwork
  • Washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Performs all laundry duties, including:
  • Washing and drying resident laundry and textiles in provided appliances
  • Folding and/or hanging laundry appropriately
  • Distributing laundered articles and linens
  • Changing bed linens.
• Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors, washing walls, and checking lint traps regularly.
• Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
• Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
• Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s).
• Work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean.
• Request maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
• Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to Supervisor.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
