Atria Senior Living – Grapevine is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe resident apartments and public areas, following established routines and quality standards.

You will handle laundry, restrooms, floors, and daily cleaning tasks while communicating in English with residents and staff. Benefits include paid holidays, PTO, health and life insurance, a 401(k) match, and tuition assistance.

Responsabilidades

• Clean public areas and residents' apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform housekeeping duties: laundered articles and linens, changing beds, cleaning restrooms, replenishing supplies, and floor care.
• Carrying out laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry; change bed linens.
• Maintain resident laundry areas and mop floors, wash walls, and check lint traps.
• Wash windows as requested; keep storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies; stock the cleaning cart.
• Dispose of trash and coordinate with maintenance for repairs when needed.
• Report health changes or safety issues promptly.

Responsibilities

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities.

• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties including:
  • Distributing laundered articles and linens
  • Changing beds
  • Cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed
  • Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
  • Dusting furniture and equipment
  • Polishing metalwork
  • Washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Performs all laundry duties, including:
  • Washing and drying resident laundry and textiles in provided appliances
  • Folding and/or hanging laundry appropriately
  • Distributing laundered articles and linens
  • Changing bed linens.
• Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors, washing walls, and checking lint traps regularly.
• Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
• Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
• Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s).
• Work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean.
• Request maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
• Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to Supervisor.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $14.00/hr - $16.80/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
