Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper for a Monday–Friday schedule with a $16.50–$18/hour pay range. The role involves cleaning apartments, laundry, and common areas, delivering a welcoming environment and adhering to safety and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, following individualized service plans, and responding to alarms, while supporting residents and team members in a respectful, confidential manner.

Qualifications

• Identify hazards and report them to management.
• Document maintenance needs and submit work orders as needed.
• Respond to fire or smoke alarms promptly.
• Answer phones and assist residents, visitors, and team members.
• Participate in safety committees and bi-weekly in-services.
• Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and state regulations for Assisted Living.
• Complete incident reports as required.

We are seeking aHousekeeper to join our team. Our Housekeepers deliver the “Red Carpet Treatment” to every resident, visitor, and team member. You’ll play a key role in creating a warm, clean, and welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day. This position involves cleaning apartments, laundry, and common areas, while helping maintain the overall beauty and safety of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide weekly housekeeping services and any additional services outlined in residents’ Individualized Service Plans.
• Maintain and manage inventory, requisition, and storage of all cleaning and laundry supplies.
• Use personal protective equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and appropriately.
• Ensure cleanliness in apartments, common areas, dining spaces, and other community areas.
• Identify hazards or unsafe conditions and report them promptly to management.
• Document maintenance needs and submit work orders when necessary.
• Respond appropriately to smoke or fire alarms.
• Answer phones courteously and assist residents, visitors, and team members as needed.
• Participate actively in safety committees, staff meetings, and bi-weekly in-services.
• Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and state regulations related to Assisted Living.
• Complete incident reports as required for residents, self, or co-workers.
