Job summary

Continental Properties is seeking a motivated Housekeeper to join The Centro residential community in Fort Myers, FL. You will ensure apartments and common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, preparing new homes for resident move-in.

The role offers a full-time schedule with pay between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, plus incentives based on performance. You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and use standard equipment to maintain grounds and interiors.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or maintenance within a residential setting.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and perform routine upkeep.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily upkeep and cleaning of property grounds, clubhouse, amenities, units, and all common areas
• Help maintain landscaping including watering, planting, mulching, and pruning shrubs
• Perform daily inspections to keep the community litter-free and tidy
• Stock refreshments in common areas as needed
• Assist with pressure washing, storm clean-up and winter snow removal
• Provide direct support to the Service Supervisor

Job description

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Housekeeper to join our team at our beautiful The Centro residential apartment community in Fort Myers, FL.

You will provide above and beyond customer service and an unmatched level of personal attention to residents. You will maintain the appearance of apartment communities and ensure new homes are ready for resident move-in by creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Position Specifics

• Full-Time
• Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Additional earning potential through position-specific performance incentives

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage daily upkeep and cleaning of property grounds, clubhouse, amenities, units, and all common areas
• Help maintain landscaping including watering, planting, mulching, and pruning shrubs
• Perform daily inspections of the community, ensuring it is litter free by removing trash and maintaining cleanliness of grounds, dumpster areas, pet stations, and other areas
• Stock refreshments as needed in common areas
• Help with pressure washing, storm clean-up and snow removal in winter
• Provide direct support to your Service Supervisor

Skills For Success

• Ability to operate basic equipment such as blowers, mowers, pressure washers, vacuums, etc.
• Ability to work overtime and on call, and a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• You will need to use technology such as computers, tablets, telephone, and other office equipment to perform tasks.
