Job summary

Responsibilities

• The primary duties involve day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department.
• Follow rules and instructions from the Director of Housekeeping Services to keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units daily as instructed.
• Discard waste in proper containers and line trash receptacles with liners.
• Ensure work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible.

• The primary is to perform the day-to day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Must follow rules and instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling unites, in rest rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible
