Job summary

Careage seeks a full-time Housekeeper at Patriots Landing in Washington. The role involves cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and offices in line with community policy, with a focus on hygiene and resident comfort.

You will lift up to 50 pounds, follow safety standards, and support move-ins and special events. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability coverage, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and sick leave.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalency.
• Six (6) months of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Mission, Philosophies, and Values.
• Clean assigned resident apartments, common areas, and offices in accordance with community policy.
• Report any Items in need of repair to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Collect, wash, fold and return resident linen and personal laundry weekly.
• Provide additional cleaning/sanitizing of incontinent resident suites as directed.
• Clean carpets by method of extraction and/or shampooing as directed.
• Assist with resident move-ins by helping to arrange personal belongings.
• Report any observed area in poor repair to the supervisor.
• Clean vacant apartments as directed.
• Report any unusual incidents to the Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Director or Manager on Duty.
• Clean exterior furniture
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Maintain all equipment in a clean and safe manner.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Director or Manager on Duty.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalency
• Six (6) months of experience in housekeeping is preferred.

Knowledge And Abilities Required To Perform Essential Job Duties

• Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must have strong oral, written, and telephone skills.
• Must be dependable
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Certified in First Aid/CPR
• Must be in good health and physically/mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
• Must possess knowledge of safe sanitation practices, safety practices
• Capable of meeting all requirements that may be specified by the state or other regulatory agencies.
