Wexford House is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at our Denver facility. You will perform general cleaning, assist with laundry, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team, with compassion for the elderly as a core value of our care philosophy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, keeping waste areas clean and organized.
• Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of shortages or issues.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for residents and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Laundry Services: Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify management of any supply shortages or equipment issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
