Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at CuraVistas Highline. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our community is clean, comfortable, and inviting for our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces, contributing to an environment that promotes health and well-being. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to serving our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a tidy environment
• Change linens, make beds, and ensure that resident rooms are neat and welcoming
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to maintain a clean, presentable environment
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and used safely
• Handle laundry and assist with other cleaning tasks as needed
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly
• Assist with special cleaning tasks during events or as directed by supervisors
• Maintain a pleasant and respectful atmosphere for residents and staff by demonstrating care in all interactions
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards in all housekeeping duties
• Help with the organization of storage rooms and cleaning supplies
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, particularly in a healthcare or senior living setting

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Must be reliable and willing to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift or move cleaning equipment and supplies

• Compassionate, caring, and friendly demeanor with a focus on providing quality service
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
