Decatur Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Environmental Services Housekeeper to join our care team in Decatur, TN. This full-time role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include adhering to cleaning schedules, following infection control policies, using PPE correctly, and reporting equipment issues to the Environmental Services Director.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Experience in healthcare settings or long-term care is a plus.

Mansioni

• Ensure daily and deep cleaning schedules are followed.
• Maintain infection control practices, including proper PPE usage.
• Use and report defects of equipment to Environmental Services Director.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director/Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in verbal, written, and electronic form.

Environmental Services Housekeeper Position Summary

As an EVS Housekeeper at Decatur Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.

• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene and always adhere to infection control policies, using the correct PPE.

• Ensure all equipment is correctly and safely used and report any defects to the Environmental Services Director.

• Carries out other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director and/or Administrator.

• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Environmental Services Housekeeper Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Previous long-term care experience preferred
