Job summary

Hillcrest Care Center in Desoto, Missouri is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our team. You will perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas, maintain cleanliness and safety, and ensure equipment is clean and functional.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work as part of a team are required. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliability, and the ability to follow a varied schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or commercial housekeeping is preferred.
• Must be reliable and keep to a schedule.
• Able to work varied shifts.
• Experience with commercial laundry equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Perform housekeeping duties in Resident rooms
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

Housekeeper Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
