Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a dedicated Housekeeper/Grounds position to keep homes and facilities clean and safe for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience is required, along with a pre-employment background and drug screen. The role includes inventorying supplies, restocking cost-effectively, and reporting needs to directors.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent if required by work location.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for housekeeping and grounds maintenance to ensure cleanliness and safety at all times while following regulatory guidelines.
• Keeps inventory of housekeeping items, restocks as needed minimizing waste within cost effective guidelines.
• Reports to the directors regarding areas or items in need of additional attention or repair.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
