Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support professional to provide supervision and daily assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on creating a positive home environment and ensuring safety while delivering compassionate, person-centered support.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in human services and supervisory duties is preferred, with a strong emphasis

• Must pass pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
• Valid driver’s license with all necessary endorsements and at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in the human service field preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) required.

Responsabilités

• Provides support, assistance and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ensures health, safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
• Supervises and mentors staff, offering direction and feedback.
• Implements therapy, training and behavior plans as required by each individual’s program.
• Maintains compliant documentation and data collection for plans and regulatory agencies.

Employees are required to communicate, both orally and in writing, with staff and others regarding medical care, supports, and services.
