Job summary

Baptist is seeking a dedicated hospital housekeeping staff member to maintain patient and non-patient areas in a safe and attractive condition. You will participate in department quality/performance improvement activities and follow hospital policies.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting areas using a 7-step process, adhering to universal precautions, maintaining storage areas, and supporting ongoing competency requirements. Provided upon hire training.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or healthcare housekeeping preferred.
• Follows infection control guidelines and safety procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas and equipment.

• Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
