Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to maintain clean patient and non-patient areas within the hospital. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to policies, and participation in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, inventorying storage areas, and following hospital guidelines to ensure a safe, attractive environment for patients and staff. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of infection control guidelines preferred.
• Education: completion of 4 years of high school or equivalent.
• Training: Will Train Upon Hire.

• Practices infection control guidelines by adhering to universal precautions and practices safety precautions completing work assignments.
• Maintains equipment, storage rooms and environmental closets in orderly fashion.
• Performs all floor maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
• Follows Service First principles.
• Fulfills hospital required competencies.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental policy and procedures.
• Completes assigned goals.
