Job summary

Lifepoint Health is hiring a Housekeeper at Woodland Springs in Texas. You will clean patient rooms and other areas daily, handle trash, change linens, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients and staff.

We value attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, with opportunities for career growth within a supportive healthcare network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and assigned areas daily, including trash removal and changing linens.
• Follow policies on patient isolation and sanitation of surfaces.
• Stock supplies in patient rooms and maintain carts/equipment in clean condition.

How You'll Contribute

A Housekeeper who excels in this role:

• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shif

What we're looking for

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
