Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the facility to meet state regulations. Responds to requests for spot cleaning areas to ensure the safety of staff and patients. Completes responsibilities by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame. Must be flexible with work schedule.

Position Responsibilities

1. Clinical / Technical Skills (40%)
   • Performs routine cleaning of hospital areas including patient rooms, units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
   • Washes windows, walls, floors, beds, furniture after patient discharge.
   • Applies clean linen on disinfected patient beds.
   • Uses and maintains chemicals and equipment according to procedures.
   • Transports trash and hazardous waste to disposal areas.
   • Replenishes supplies and reports repairs needed.
   • Follows infection prevention and control practices.
   • Maintains quality standards and completes work timely.
   • Performs other duties as required.
