Job summary

Omnia Facility Solutions in Columbus, OH is seeking a full-time Housekeeper for first shift (Tuesday–Saturday). You will perform routine cleaning of residential rooms and common areas, operate washers and dryers, maintain cleaning charts, and restock supplies to support a safe, welcoming environment.

Candidates with prior housekeeping experience and reliable attendance are preferred. Completion of safety classes and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping, laundry or janitorial experience preferred.
• Healthcare environment experience a plus.
• Solid attendance and punctuality.
• High school diploma or GED (or 1–3 years related experience).
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must complete required safety classes.
• Able to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, moping, sweeping, and dusting assigned residential rooms and common areas.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Clean and supply restrooms.
• Remove waste and empty trash.
• Use of industrial washer and dryer.
• Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected.
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage areas.
• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or needed repairs.
• Assist in other building areas including assisted living and laundry.

• A solid work history with excellent attendance & punctuality.
• High school diploma/GED OR 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks.
