Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper in New York to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments for residents, families, and staff. You will service resident suites, common areas, and offices, while upholding infection control standards and privacy.

The role emphasizes comfort, dignity, and safety across the community. Pay range is $17.00 to $21.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability plans, retirement savings, PTO, and tuition

Responsibilities

• Clean resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Clean and polish fixtures, furniture, and surfaces
• Knock before entering resident rooms and respect privacy
• Collect trash and maintain clean disposal areas
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute community laundry
• Inspect linens for wear and follow replacement procedures
• Store chemicals safely and follow infection control standards
• Keep carts, equipment, and hallways clear and compliant
