Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Housekeeper to keep a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping, assist with sanitation, and interact positively with residents and staff.

Starting pay is $14.00 per hour. The role includes training, development opportunities, and a benefits package that may include health coverage and wellness programs. Employment is on-site with physical requirements as listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance is required.
• Good communication with residents, staff and visitors.
• Positive attitude and reliable daily task execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation follow safety procedures.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
