Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, sanitize areas, and support resident comfort while following established cleaning procedures.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent; prior housekeeping is preferred but not required. You will need physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to work around cleaning products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with building occupants, administration, and staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation follows procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required

Offered salary rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
