Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown The Loop is hiring a reliable Housekeeper to keep guest rooms clean and comfortable. You will maintain inventories, dust and polish surfaces, and report any damages to ensure guest satisfaction.

We seek organized, self-motivated individuals with flexible schedules including weekends and holidays; related hotel experience is a plus. This is a full-time role with benefits and opportunities for growth within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hotel housekeeping or similar role is ideal, but willingness to train the right person.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to read, write and speak fluently.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a hotel setting or in a similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Hyatt brand experience is beneficial
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus

Compensation: $21 hourly

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form (Form I-9) upon hire
