Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to the hotel's standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure all rooms are stocked with towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Common Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, elevators, and public restrooms.
• Linen & Laundry Management: Collect, sort, and transport linens and towels to the laundry area.
• Guest Interaction: Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure timely cleaning.

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. This critical role involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for our guests.

Job Summary: The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas, replenishing amenities, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

• Room Cleaning:
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to the hotel's standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies such as towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea supplies.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Common Area Maintenance:
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and public restrooms.
• Ensure common areas are always tidy, clean, and welcoming to guests.
• Linen & Laundry Management:
• Collect, sort, and transport linens and towels to the laundry area.
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens and towels is always available
• Guest Interaction:
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Provide assistance to guests as needed to enhance their stay.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure all rooms and common areas are cleaned in a timely manner.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor.
