Position 1: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Charleston, SC

Join an elite mission at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Charleston, SC, and Joint Base Charleston. Your technical expertise will support a high-demand federal law enforcement training hub. As a vital part of DAWSON's facilities maintenance team, you will ensure optimal steam and hot water operations across mission-critical systems. This role involves operating and maintaining boilers, safeguarding system efficiency, safety, and environmental control, thus helping sustain infrastructure that powers national security training.

Position 2: Housekeeper

Location: Charleston, SC

Join an elite mission at FLETC in Charleston, SC, and Joint Base Charleston, ensuring a clean, comfortable, and professional environment for federal trainees and personnel. As a Housekeeper supporting DAWSON's dorm services team, you'll maintain the operational excellence of dormitories, administrative offices, and common areas. Your attention to detail and service mindset will contribute directly to the health, well-being, and productivity of the campus community.

Responsibilities

1. Clean and service dormitory rooms, offices, and shared spaces following FLETC protocols and CDC standards.
2. Make beds, change linens, and restock towels and amenities during and between student occupancies.
3. Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, and bathroom fixtures.
4. Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furnishings, and remove trash daily or as scheduled.
5. Report maintenance issues to supervisory staff.
6. Maintain proper care and use of cleaning supplies and equipment; secure chemicals according to safety protocols.
7. Support seasonal deep cleaning and emergency sanitation operations as directed.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or custodial services in commercial or institutional settings.
2. Ability to read and follow instructions on MSDS sheets, safety notices, and cleaning directives.
3. Must be physically able to lift up to 40 lbs., push carts, and perform tasks involving standing, bending, or kneeling for long periods.
4. Experience with green cleaning products and sustainable practices preferred.
5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and guest comfort.

Additional Requirements

1. Adhere to OSHA, EPA, and FLETC safety protocols; use proper PPE at all times.
2. Participation in rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and emergency cleanups, may be required.
