Job summary

The Glades at Championsgate is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain a clean and safe community for residents, families, and staff. You will clean resident apartments, common areas, and may assist with personal laundry, linens, and towels.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments and all common areas, maintaining laundry facilities, and following safety procedures for chemical handling. This role requires physical ability to bend, reach, lift up to 40-50 pounds, and stand for

Responsibilities

• Keeps community clean and safe for residents, families, and visitors.
• Cleans resident apartments and common areas, and may handle laundry services.
• Maintains housekeeping and laundry carts; washes and dries community laundry.
• Follows posted work schedule and uses proper safety procedures with chemicals.
• Reports injuries and communicates with supervisors and team members.

Job Summary:

The HousekeepingAssociate is responsible for keeping the Community clean and safe forresidents, families, team members, and visitors. He/she is also responsible for cleaningcommon areas and may be assigned to clean resident apartments up to and including their personal laundry, bed linens, and towels.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans Resident apartments asassigned.
• Cleans all common areas, includingbut not limited to: halls, landings,stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units.
• Cleans vacant units as assigned andas above.
• Ensures cleanliness of publicrestrooms.
• Maintains housekeeping and laundrycarts at all times.
• Washes and dries all communitylaundry, using appropriate products.
• Follows the posted work schedule andarrives on time and in appropriate work attire.
• Follows all emergency proceduresincluding when chemicals are accidently misused.
• Understands the practices surroundingproper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Maintains a clean laundry room andstores chemicals in accordance with proper procedures.
• Reports on-the-job injuries to the Plant Operations Director/Business Office Director.
• Communicates effectively with HousekeepingSupervisor, Plant Operations Director, and other team members.
• Advises Housekeeping Supervisorand/or Plant Operations Director when supplies are in need of reorder.

Qualifications:

• HighSchool diploma preferred/ GED accepted
• Abilityto handle multiple priorities
• Musthave organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving anddecision-making skills
• Physically able to bend and reach.
• Physically able to push and pull andlift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary.
• Physicallyable to stand for extended periods of time.
