Job summary

The Housekeeping Associate at Hcshiring is responsible for keeping the community clean and safe for residents, families, team members, and visitors. This role includes cleaning resident apartments when assigned, plus all common areas such as halls, lobbies, restrooms, and activity spaces.

The position requires attention to schedule, proper attire, and adherence to safety and biohazard procedures. Physical tasks include lifting up to 40-50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and moving carts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident apartments as assigned.
• Cleans all common areas including halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units.
• Cleans vacant units as assigned and as above.
• Maintains cleanliness of public restrooms.
• Maintains housekeeping and laundry carts at all times.
• Washes and dries community laundry using appropriate products.
• Follows posted work schedule and arrives on time in proper work attire.
• Follows emergency procedures and proper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Communicates with housekeeping supervisor and other team members.
• Reports supplies in need of reorder to supervisor.

Job Summary:

The HousekeepingAssociate is responsible for keeping the Community clean and safe forresidents, families, team members, and visitors. He/she is also responsible for cleaningcommon areas and may be assigned to clean resident apartments up to and including their personal laundry, bed linens, and towels.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans Resident apartments asassigned.
• Cleans all common areas, includingbut not limited to: halls, landings,stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units.
• Cleans vacant units as assigned andas above.
• Ensures cleanliness of publicrestrooms.
• Maintains housekeeping and laundrycarts at all times.
• Washes and dries all communitylaundry, using appropriate products.
• Follows the posted work schedule andarrives on time and in appropriate work attire.
• Follows all emergency proceduresincluding when chemicals are accidently misused.
• Understands the practices surroundingproper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Maintains a clean laundry room andstores chemicals in accordance with proper procedures.
• Reports on-the-job injuries to the Plant Operations Director/Business Office Director.
• Communicates effectively with HousekeepingSupervisor, Plant Operations Director, and other team members.
• Advises Housekeeping Supervisorand/or Plant Operations Director when supplies are in need of reorder.

Qualifications:

• HighSchool diploma preferred/ GED accepted
• Abilityto handle multiple priorities
• Musthave organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving anddecision-making skills
• Physically able to bend and reach.
• Physically able to push and pull andlift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary.
• Physicallyable to stand for extended periods of time.
