Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, inviting spaces across our campus and community settings. You will perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing tasks with attention to detail and safety.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and providing excellent customer service to clients and residents. We offer a work-friendly schedule with limited late nights, some holidays off, paid vacations, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of cleaning appliances and safe use of cleaning agents.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current certificate (OSHA/CMI).
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Proof of auto insurance as required by policy.
• 1–2 years housekeeping and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and organize bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops.
• Vacuum floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes in various rooms.
• Clean spills and stains with appropriate equipment and products.
• Collect and dispose of trash/recycling on premises.
• Wipe, disinfect, and dust all surfaces and mirrors.
• Ensure walls, ceilings, windows, and floors are clean and in good repair.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients promptly and courteously.

Housekeepers perform a variety of duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and other general residential cleaning. If you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces every day, We're currently looking for a housekeeper who is detail oriented and likes to keep things spotless.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize, and organize bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops. Ensure bathroom plumbing fixtures are in working order.
• Vacuum floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes in living room, dining room, hallways, study rooms, executive, and craft rooms.
• Clean up spills and stains with appropriate equipment and products.
• Collect and dispose of trash/recycling to appropriate trash collection on premises.
• Wipe, disinfect, and/or dust all surfaces and mirrors.
• Ensure walls, ceilings, windows, and floors are clean and in state of good repair.
• Provide exceptional customer service -- addressing clients’ needs, requests and concerns in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current certificate or equivalent, from a nationally recognized or approved certification program (i.e., OSHA, CMI)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to maintain proof of individual auto insurance as required by company safe driver policy.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of previous housekeeping experience.

Special Demands:

• Required to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less.
• Physically able to push a vacuum cleaner or mop for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• The position requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
