Otterbein SeniorLife in Celina, OH is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure a clean, safe environment for residents, guests and staff. This role emphasizes cheerful, timely service and collaboration with team members to support our senior residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning furnishings and floors, reporting maintenance concerns, and communicating with residents and families to maintain a high standard of care. We offer versatile shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Prior housekeeping and/or laundry in long-term care preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Cleans furnishings, fixtures, and windows by washing, dusting or polishing as scheduled.
• Cleans floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, or damp/wet mopping.
• Empties trash and reports maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Interacts positively with residents, family members and staff.
• Follows policies to maintain quality resident care.

Otterbein has a Full-Time and Part-Time opportunity for a Housekeeper. Housekeepers provide a clean, safe environment for residents, guests and employees. They enhance the lives and nurture the growth of older persons by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, coordinating and cooperating with others to attain goals. Responsibilities

• Cleans furnishings, fixtures, ledges, windows, heating/cooling units, etc. by washing, dusting, or polishing as scheduled or assigned.
• Cleans floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, or damp/wet mopping as scheduled or assigned.
• Empties trash, cleans trash receptacles, and transports trash to proper area.
• Reports burned out light bulbs, broken or defective equipment, other maintenance concerns, pest control problems, and other unsafe or unsanitary conditions to supervisor.
• Interacts positively with residents, family members, guests, and personnel.
• Follows all established policies, procedures andregulations to assure that quality resident care is maintained.
• Communicates, coordinates, and cooperates with other team members.
• Maintains resident rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred
• Experience:Previous Housekeeping and/or Laundryin long term care preferred, but not required
