Otterbein in the United States is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to provide a clean, safe environment for residents, guests and staff. This role supports high-quality service in a cheerful, timely manner and collaborates with others.

Opening: Full-time 7:30am-3:30pm. Responsibilities include cleaning furnishings, floors, trash, reporting maintenance needs, and maintaining resident rights and confidentiality. Education: high school diploma; prior long-term care housekeeping or laundry preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous Housekeeping and/or Laundry experience in long term care preferred; positive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Clean furnishings, fixtures, ledges, windows, heating/cooling units, etc. by washing, dusting, or polishing as scheduled or assigned.
• Clean floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping or damp/wet mopping as scheduled or assigned.
• Empty trash, clean trash receptacles and transports trash to proper area.
• Reports burned out light bulbs, broken or defective equipment, other maintenance concerns, pest control problems and other unsafe or unsanitary conditions to supervisor.
• Interacts positively with residents, family members, guests and personnel.
• Follows all established policies, procedures and regulations to assure that quality resident care is maintained.
• Communicates, coordinates and cooperates with other team members.
• Maintains resident rights and confidentiality.
