Job summary

Garden Square Assisted Living of Casper, part of Cascade Living Group, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean apartments and common areas, ensuring a safe, inviting environment for residents.

You will assist with laundry, restocking linens, and light cleaning in resident apartments and public spaces, while collaborating with a caring team to support quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotels, country clubs or similar high-end senior living communities preferred.
• Desire to work with seniors and provide compassionate service.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Sufficient mobility and strength to move about the facility and assist residents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to detect odors and identify spots and spills.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident apartments and common areas daily with dusting, mopping, sanitizing and scrubbing.
• Wash and fold laundry, distribute linens and towels, keep cleaning cart stocked.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and time management.
• Collaborate with team to achieve goals and support residents.
• Promote Cascade Living Group's mission, values and beliefs.

Job description

As a Housekeeper with Cascades of Garden Square, you’ll interact and engage with residents while in their apartments and throughout the community. You play a key role in creating a well-maintained atmosphere of dignity and respect for our residents and guests by ensuring apartments and common areas are clean, safe, and inviting.

What we look for in a Housekeeper:

• Preferred experience at hotels, country clubs or other similar high-end senior living communities
• Desire to work with seniors
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
• Sufficient mobility and strength to move freely through the building and to assist transfer or otherwise move residents of facility
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to detect odors and see spots and spills
• Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends

What you can expect to do as a Housekeeper:

• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
• Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident apartments and common areas daily
• Washes and folds laundry, distributes clean linens and towels and maintains a stocked cleaning cart
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
• Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
