Family Health Care in Cadillac, MI is seeking a reliable cleaning crew member to maintain our health center during evening hours. This 20-hour-per-week, non-exempt position is essential for keeping our facilities clean and welcoming for patients and visitors.

The role includes daily cleaning, restocking towels, dispensers, and supplies, trash removal, and reporting maintenance needs. You will work with a small team, value safety, and uphold Customer Service Standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting of the health center.
• Maintain towels, dispensers and supplies daily.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport to dumpster.
• Inventory and order housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues such as stained tiles or bulbs.
• Support supervisor and work as a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and respect towards patients and coworkers.

Employment Type: 50%; 20 hours per week

Family Health Care is looking for a reliable team member for its cleaning crew in our Cadillac location during evening hours!

Description

This position will ensure that our facilities are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.

Duties

• Responsible for daily cleaning, vacuuming/mopping, dusting and/or disinfecting of the health center.
• Responsible for maintaining towel, paper, hand sanitizer and soap dispensers daily.
• Responsible for daily emptying of wastebaskets and transporting outdoors to dumpster.
• Responsible for maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies and ordering supplies when necessary.
• Responsible for reporting stained ceiling tiles, light bulbs that are out, and other items throughout the organization that need to be addressed.
• Performs other light duties deemed necessary and assigned by the supervisor.
• Must be willing to go above and beyond at times, while being a team player.
• Understands the importance of and models a positive attitude and respect towards patients, co-workers, and visitors as outlined in Family Health Care's Customer Service Standards.

Qualifications

Knowledge of

• Housekeeping functions and standards, including safety, using a step ladder and sanitation.
• Cleaning methods, materials, tools and equipment.
• Common safety hazards to identify potential safety problems.
• Operating housekeeping equipment and machines.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a productive member of a team.
• Basic computer skills
