Housekeeper

A wonderful client is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their team in Bridgehampton, NY.

This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, detail-oriented housekeeping professional who takes pride in maintaining a luxury home to the highest standards. The role is highly hands‑on and requires a strong work ethic, service mindset, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Private home experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive daily, deep, and seasonal cleaning of the residence, with special care for fine materials and surfaces
• Work collaboratively with other Housekeepers under the guidance the House and Estate Managers
• Assist with laundry and the ironing of clothes and linens
• Help with household tasks like setting tables, meal prep, and clean‑up when requested by the family's chef
• Run occasional household errands as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a private, high‑end home or as a yacht Stew
• Excellent, verifiable references
• Outstanding hands‑on cleaning skills with a strong eye for detail
• Ability to anticipate the family's needs while maintaining a professional and discreet presence.
• Strong English communication skills

Schedule:

• Off‑season
  • Generally Monday to Friday, approximately 9 am to 5 pm.
  • The principals are happy to consider candidates who prefer an earlier start
• In‑season
  • The Housekeeping team provides 7 days of coverage, and you must be flexible to work weekends and holidays
  • The Season is Memorial Day to Columbus Day, plus other occasional visits by the family
  • Hours may vary to accommodate the family’s schedule

Compensation:

• Excellent base compensation of $50/hour depending on experience and qualifications
• A comprehensive benefits package including an annual discretionary bonus, fully paid health insurance, 401(k) with match, life and disability insurance, paid holidays, PTO, etc.
