Job summary

Westminster Point Pleasant in Bradenton, FL is seeking experienced Housekeepers to maintain clean residential units, Health Center rooms, and common areas in a beautiful waterfront life plan community near downtown Bradenton.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience: high school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.
• Medical requirement: able to receive an annual influenza vaccination during flu season.
• Experience and basic knowledge: working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Cleans residential units, resident’s rooms and common areas (including stairwells).
• Sanitizes Health Center rooms after move-out or before move-in.
• Send or bring protectors to the laundry area after use by residents during each meal.
• Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized (twice daily).
• Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned areas.
• Garbage removal including biohazards removal from the assigned areas (by contracted vendor).
• Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.

SUMMARY:

Cleans residences; apartments; Health Center rooms and bathrooms and residential common areas.

Essential Position Functions

Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster and its communities.

• Cleans residential units, resident’s rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.
