Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Housekeeper for Seven Summits Lodge in Bonney Lake, WA. You will keep Club buildings clean and sanitary, reporting to the Facility Maintenance Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor. Position may require evenings or weekends and a flexible schedule.

The role emphasizes guest-focused service, safety, and teamwork within a private club setting. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) plan after 30 days of service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months’ experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
• Current First Aid or other safety certifications, as required by the Club.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members about tasks.
• Desire to contribute to a productive work environment with a positive attitude.
• Must show initiative and sound judgment in tasks.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and detail.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; limited travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean all Club buildings on a daily schedule per BlueStar standards.
• Clean all facilities including floors, carpets, walls, furniture and equipment; empty trash.
• Assist Maintenance Department as needed.
• Maintain infection-free facilities with thorough cleaning and replacing when needed.
• Report repairs to the facility maintenance manager and follow up on repairs.
• Work safely and use PPE; report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with OSHA, EPA and Health Dept rules for chemicals and products.
• Assist with setup and teardown for Club events.
• Other duties as assigned.

With areas dedicated to dining, relaxation, fitness, games, and more, Seven Summits Lodge is a private community Club styled for the most discerning of Members.

Where: Located in Bonney Lake, a picturesque drive south from Seattle, Washington

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Benefits:

New hourly full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week, will be eligible for the Company medical, dental and life insurance plans the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Full-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (“PTO”) in accordance with the Company policy at a rate of 120 hours per year.

Full-Time team members are eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.

Part-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state guidelines.

All team members 21 years and older are eligible to participate in the J.F. Shea Co., Inc. 401(k) plan after completion of 30 days of service.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Housekeeper maintains a clean and sanitary environment for the Club facilities. This position reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect and clean all Club buildings on a daily schedule, according to BlueStar standards and procedures as assigned.
• Clean all facilities as assigned, including floors, carpets, walls, ledges, pictures, mirrors, furniture, fixtures and equipment; empty garbage containers.
• Assist Maintenance Department in completing duties as assigned.
• Maintain an infection-free facility by thorough washing, cleaning, and replacing equipment and/or furnishings.
• Report repairs or the need for replacements to the facility maintenance manager; follow up to assure repair meets facility standards.
• Work in a safe manner and use all personal protective equipment (safety gear) assigned; report unsafe conditions or accidents to a supervisor.
• Comply with all rules and regulations (including OSHA, EPA, and state Health Department) for using cleaning products and chemicals, as provided by the Facility Manager.
• Assist with set up and tear down for Club events.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Valid driver’s license may be required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates in both an indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to weather conditions, and occasionally native wildlife, when outdoors on the facility grounds.Outdoor environments may require walking on cement while pushing a cart or carrying items. There may be exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud, depending on the equipment or machines used.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see and hear, speak clearly and understand the speech of another person. This position is very active and requires standing, bending, and walking for most of a work shift; sitting and driving, using hands to fingers, touching and holding, and reaching with hands and arms. The position requires the ability to lift and/or push or pull items weighing up to 25-30 pounds. Employees are required to wear all assigned personal protective equipment.
